Burn as much of the Isle as you can, but be careful... when a flame goes out, the ashes left behind could cut you off. You'll gain Sparks with every fire lit, and Ashes with every fire snuffed out. Spend Sparks to ignite nearby lands and save Ashes to spend on useful upgrades and abilities. Strategize and use these points wisely. Early-on the Isle might seem like it has near limitless fuel for your fires, but as the turns pass, costs will rise, rain will pour, and resources will get scarce. Burn only what you need to - when you need to, but above all don't let your fires go to waste... Play solo and burn at your own pace, strategize how best to navigate the Isle, try not to miss any tiles along the way, and keep your fires alive as long as you can - or - Compete against friends online, fighting for fuel, boxing each other out with walls of fire and ash, and placing Hidden Traps along the way, until only the fiercest fire remains. Be the last fire standing to win, but burning more tiles than anyone else isn't a bad idea either... The Isle is full of unique ways to improve your burning abilities! Ignite Coal Deposits and Erupt Volcanoes to spread your fires in ways never thought possible before! Spend Ashes to call forth unpredictable Lightning Strikes, large-scale Fire Bursts, and place Hidden Traps. Eventually use them to heat your fires up so they can burn Sand, Mountains, and even Snow itself!
